Stuck in someone else's frames? break free!

Wisdom From Bhutan:

A cup of water, for you, it is something to drink. If you put a fish into the cup, it will see water as a place to live. The Buddha will see neither liquid nor a home; he will see the true nature of existence behind the temporary combination of atoms. This reality cannot be expressed in words. It's like a mute eating candy; he knows the taste of sweetness, but cannot express it. To calm a flame, you put glass around it. Meditation is like that glass; it calms the mind. Poverty denotes a lack of necessities; simplicity denotes a lack of needs.
