GROW A PLANT IN THE CLOSET Get two potted plants of the same kind, such as bean plants, and put one into a dark closet or cupboard, and the other into a sunny place. Water them both when they start to look dry. Every few days, put the plant from the closet next to the plant in the sunny place, and see how different they look. After a few weeks, the plant from the closet will be very different, in many ways, from the plant grown in the sunshine.
